Page 28.31 of Bentley's says that the resistance of the wire between the ignition coil and the distributor should read 2000 ohm +/- 800 ohm, tip-to-tip. Mellow Yellow's reads about 10,000 ohm. My FLAPS didn't have a replacement wire, though they did have a "universal" wire that I picked up, just 'cause. It, too, measures about 10k ohm tip-to-tip. My existing wire looks to be in good condition.
