Hello Troops: While sitting at a stoplight the other day, I was repeatedly pumping the brake pedal(for lack of any pretty girls to ogle at on either side of the Vanagon) and the idle increased about 6=700 rpm before returning to normal. I realize I may have been screwing up the vacuum supply/demand chain there, but is this something indicating a repair down the road, or do I just have a leak somewhere that needs attention? My VDO vacuum gauge on the dash shows no change while I do this.

Thanks

DM&FS
