Subject: Accessing the B pillar from under the van
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

I'm in the process of adding AC to my 1987 adventurewage or more correctly getting the parts together in preperation. I've got most of the details worked out but routing of the AC line.

I've been told that Ed Anderson ran the lines he did so inside the B pillar, drivers side. What I'm trying to determine is how to gain access to it. I'd like to cut into it from the underside of the van but I didn't know if this is even possible. The other idea is to bring them into the van then into the pillar this is possible because the adventurewagen has a rather large sink/storage cabinet that sites right in front of the B pillar. In fact is covers 90% of the pillar.

So has anyone used the B pillar to run wires or other stuff and if so how'd it go.
