I've seen those leather covering kits for steering wheels..looks like a pain to install, though it IS nice not to have to hang onto the thin plastic rim of a steering wheel for as many hours as we sit behind them in our vans. What I have done in the past for other vehicles with plastic steering wheels is to use handlebar wrap from a bike shop/catalog. Works really well and it's pretty easy to do and get a pro looking job that feels great on your hands.. Look around and you can find just about every type (color, texture, material) of wrap from real gen-u-whine leather to gel-filled (for you Tiico owners) vibration absorbing whoop de do stuff. Cheap, easy to clean or replace and feels good in the fing-ies..Especially with winter coming on.. Don Hanson |
