since i got a few questions about the van: according to his description, this is a one owner van, original paint. it got an additional underbody protective coating when it was new so no underbody rust. in addition the frame rails were wax treated on the interior when new, so no rust there either. the paint and body was waxed yearly by him, he claims no seam rust except one one inch piece next to the drivers door. the fenders were repainted in 1996 as a "preventative" measure by the vw dealer. the rear bed is not a rock and roll but ather a pull out over the rear seats, so the rear bed sits a lot higher than in a westy, thereby generating the cargo space between engine lid and bed that you see in one of the pictures. I can contact the seller for additional pics if anyone is interested. florian
