Ah Fall brakes, thermostat and another cv joint on its way :) I am about to try and get my thermostat replaced but feels like the bolts are not my friend I think I might destroy the housing in the process anybody have a good housing for 1.9 they want to sell ?

TC, the long bolts will most likely break off. They must be drilled out and the threads chased and or helicoiled. I have one very good, completely overhauled, cleaned of all corrosion, all threaded holes are good, with stainless steel hardware ready to go. $100 plus your old one, plus $15 S&H. If you cannot get yours off the water pump either send it with the water pump or cut off the pump with a hack saw without damaging the thermostat housing.

Cheers,
