Mark, Zoltan is talking about stainless steel welding. Stainless steel is the type of material your Stebro muffler is made of, and does not mean how pretty the weld will be. Stainless steel is a type of material that will discolor over time, but it's material properties are what is important. Anyone can weld some type of steel to stainless, but if it is not compatible, you will have to do it again, and you will have to pay money again $$$... Dave.
