I would sure like to hear what folks have, or find. There must be something between the $600 versions, and the low quality Harbor Freight Migs that would do a good job, for a part time newbie. I once borrowed a friends small one that he got at HF. The smaller one, I think 90Amps and it was a bad experience, but I know that in addition to my lack of skills, it was simply too small and 'underpowered' to do much of anything. John |
