Check your timing carefully Bill. And you've got a tankful of Mohawk in
there right? And a fresh oil change?
On our old '87 Golf with 1.8 and CIS-E I used to have an AirCare setting and
a 12 month setting.
Twisted the mixture about 35 degrees lean and it passed with flying
colours. Needs a 3mm Allen wrench - Lordco has them.
