Don't you have uninsured motorist coverage? Look at your insurance coverage one more time. As long as the other party is identified and you have this coverage your insurance company will pay your bill for you. It will be able to pursue the other party for payment.

I had this happened to me before. A guy rear ended me at low speed causing damage to my bumper. He had no insurance. I reported it to my insurance. Got paid by the insurance without problems. Deductible did not apply.
