Hi Warren.

My understanding is that a Wiki is open to everyone. With the Vanagon Wiki, it's open to everyone who signs up to be a member. IMHO, an article, in theory, can become quite refined. I'm sure this isn't always the case. Bear in mind that I wrote "in theory" . --- :^)

There is a "history" link you can click on at top of page. (sounds like you've checked that out though) AFAIK, it shows who edited and when. If you click on "compare selected versions", it shows a comparison of which lines were changed. As for changing ones' displayed name, there doesn't appear to be an obvious way to do this under "preferences".

There is a warning about contributions being edited. When in the "edit" portion of an article, this warning is at the bottom of the page.

Hope this helps,

Neil.
