That ain't the way I heard it!! At least back in the day.

In that "rotten little boy" stage of kid culture a long time ago - much
longer than I care to talk about - the 1492 ditty went something like
this - (titter, titter, giggle, giggle). Sorry - that was just to set
the "rotten little boy" tone of things for the moment

"In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue,
He climbed the mast,
Skinned his *ss,
and,
P**d all over the crew!"
(titter, titter, giggle, giggle)

That was the choice ditty of little boys to outrage and embarrass
parents of the time.
