Jerry, You have raised a good question. If I had the time and a good supply of Swagelok brand fittings, I would use a Swagelok bulkhead union with hosebarb fittings. I haven't been in the lab in years, but it would seem that some on the list who are practicing lab scientists could tell us what might work.
