Take great care and don't remove any hose from the T-Distribution device (where 5 or so hoses are connected on the passenger side of the firewall). I had a leaking hose and damaged the plastic connection when I removed the hose. Have the T-Distribution section on order with VW and am looking forward to removing all of the hoses. -----Original Message----- >From: Roger Sisler <rogersisler2000@YAHOO.COM> >Sent: Oct 12, 2007 12:03 PM >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >Subject: Re: How to empty a radiator? > >You can get most out through the leaking head gasket :>) > >Your supposed to remove one of the hoses that go from the radiator and >coolant pipe.
