Maybe you just want to take your wife and kids with you up to the ski hill. Your kids will want to bring a friend each......... Our 7 passenger GL was often full to capacity when our two kids were in school. Not to mention that not everybody lives in a city in southern California. Many live in a more northern rural situation where four wheel drive makes a huge difference throughout the winter months. My wife would have loved to have a 7 passenger Syncro 4 x 4 van when we lived in rural Ontario instead of the giant Jeep Cherokee she had to drive by default. Get out and lock the hubs? Geez, its cold out there!
