1-2 years driving during the winter, yeah easily. Not rotted out in that time of course, but it never happens all at once. Once the salt gets in there and the corrosion starts to do it's thing, good luck stopping it. You can help prevent it, but it's brutal. There are no garage queens around here(few anyhow) and most of the rest are long since off the roads rotted away. Maine is wonderful, don't let rust make that decision for you. This is one of the chief reasons CA is just a PITA regarding not letting us bring the conversion there, they must force a fleet overturn of old vehicle to get them off the roads because it doesn't happen naturally like it does here. Maybe they should just start salting the roads in CA ha
