Subject: Good stuff from JC Whipme?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

This is probably a FAQ, but here goes anyway...

I received a new JC Whitney catalog in the mail today, the freebie I had ordered. I didn't order the "Volkswagen classic" one because I thought it only meant air-cooled Volkswagens, is that correct, or does the Volkswagen classic one also carry stuff for the waterboxers, too? If so, I guess I'll be ordering another freebie.

Anyway, for about $40, they list one of those solar panel charge through your cigarette lighter deally bobs. Has anybody used one of these? Does it help keep a good charge on the battery during camping? Enough to offset the stock dometic fridge?

What about getting two, and plugging them both in? Or, would that blow a fuse or relay somewhere along the line?

Anyhow, I'm going to paypal the guy I got the hatch lifts from, and I'm going to order some additional parts from Chris from the list...

But I was just wondering what people's opinion of this part and any others ordered from JC Whitney are?

I seem to remember the stuff ordered from the last order (for a 1972 convertible beetle) to be decent enough.

Kyle Kyle
