Subject:      Westy Screens, and Westy Screen Repair...

Hi all,

     Been thinking of the repairs I am certainly
qualified to do on the westy, and I came up with this.

     I have 2 screen windows for my sliding passenger
area windows.  Should there have been a third for the
vent cap in the popup area?  Does anybody know?

     Anyhow, a rudimentary visual inspection yields
the fact that the screen seemed to have been attached
to its plastic frame with some sort of adhesive
material.

     Only one screen is intact, the other screen,
while not being intact, isn't in tatters, either.
Rather; it looks like the adhesive has worn off on
three of the four sides on the plastic frame.

     There is a local hardware store in town that
specializes in fixing screen windows (I don't really
know if they've ever seen a westy one before or not,
though.)

     But, what does the list think of me firing up my
hot glue gun and simply trying to re-attach the three
dislocated sides to the frame?
