It would change nothing! the rad sit very high and enverything between the long coolant pipe will go out. What do you mean by "tube"? the long cooling pipe!

By overflow you mean Expension tank? would it be open? It still won't change anything. The small difference would be to open the Expension tank because air could go IN and replace coolant! Still....
