Ox-gard is such a grease for electrical connections. It claims to reduce connector losses by using a "particle" which enhances the mechanical grip of the connectors. I did all of my van's connections when I first got it ten years ago. No complaints. BTW I first degrease each connector, then dipped it into "TARN-X" which does an excellent job removing the rest of the corrosion on the connectors

Is there an optimal way to put together ground wires to the chassis, that delays corrosion?

What about the engine harness, do those connections do better with something?
