Hi All: I have a set of Cibie 5x7's with City Lights waiting to go in - the mounting is similar to the Hellas, but the attachment will require drilling and tapping some small holes in the metal tabs on the lights. It's easy if you can cut metal and weld it up. Daniel Stern sells all you would ever need for lighting stuff.

No big deal, but I'm booked until next August with the pipe organ project - In a moment of drunken stupor I committed to hosting a Summer Camp, sort of a school-seminar-social convention for theatre organ fans who show up and get learned real good like, on how to play the organ. The problem is that the building is not finished in the inside AND the organ hasn't been winded yet. Much work to do, is. Stay tuned for Van progress later.

Hi Group,

I've gotten my hands on a couple of 5x7' Cibie H4 headlamps. The plan is to fabricate a mounting system to adapt them to the standard Vanagon rectangular buckets and adjusters.

Has anyone tried this before? I know Randy Bergum did this with Hellas: http://home.earthlink.net/~organslave/id18.html but the Cibies would be the ultimate upgrade. -- John Meeks
