hey all, having a noise issue on occasion.

background--van running great...in fact, just passed inspection and emissions with flying colors

problem--periodically, when hitting the accelerator, and only when the gas is depressed, there is a noise that is quite noticeable.   It is kind of like what the movies usually make a boomerang sound like as it flies through the sky before clubbing the clueless loser in the head(whuu whuu whuu...), or a really bad chevy chase in caddy shack impersonation(nuu nuu nuu...)...hope you got the point.

it includes some vibration at the same time.  i checked the suspension and everything looks good(redid the front end about 1000 miles ago).  it seems like it is coming from the passenger middle of the van...near where the fuel pump is or the coolant pipes run.

 since the noise happens some times but not others when the van has been running a while, thus at temperature, what could it be?


       tired fuel pump giving sign it is about to soil the sheets?  it humms along nicely right before start up warm or cold
       air bubbles in the coolant system?
any suggestions would be appreciated...it is definitely not engine related.
