If you file a complaint, it remains accessible to others, via the web page, or telephone inquiry, so it may well save someone from a similar situation. The BBB is not where you go to get any help or restitution. That is the job of consumer protection agency, but if you want to put out the word that the shop is a rip-off, BBB is the only real way to go. Doesn't do much unless someone is savvy enough to look, but its free, and I highly recommend that those see shops like this, file the complaint. You won't get any personal satisfaction, other than maybe helping someone else avoid an issue.
