That wouldnīt work.

The 3.0 V6 uses a 6-speed-tiptronic. The ECUs of engine and gearbox are incompatible to the 5-speed-versions.

So you would have to use the 6-speed, which canīt be reversed... at least not as simple as the 5-speed. It would be a total re-design of the gearbox housing and shafts...

I thought about that, too. The reversing kit I fabricated would have to be modified for the Quattro gearbox. Not complicated, but the reversing kit is quite expensive...I would have to sell my 2WD reversiong kit first...

The biggest challenge would be to fit the Audi rear diff (upside down) into the vanagonīs syncro front diff carrier...
