What's German for "two steps forward, one step back"? "Vanagon", of course. The aforementioned throttle valve switch, after all of my loving care, took a complete crap on me. The switch doesn't click on at all under any condition, either by use or even manually. It's dead, and I have no idea why. Someone, whose e-mail I have since deleted, stated that it's possible to switch the plugs for some other component with the TVS plug and thereby kill the TVS. At the time I didn't think I could make that mistake, thinking that I had positively identified the right plug, but now I'm not so sure. Yet I even checked the Bentley's and I didn't see any possible suspects from the wiring harness that I could have switched by accident. Anybody else have any experience with this thing? In the mean time: "Yoohoo, Bus Depot..." Cecil |
