It came through via my ham radio email address clean. See below. And, once
again, I've left the rest of the stream of notes attached to identify the
stripped vs the unstripped.

Hi Mike and List Readers. Responding to Mike's note; I stripped my first
note and Mike's response and left them as they arrived here at the bottom.
The first (stripped of ">'s) looks clean as it leaves here. I've added my
ham radio email address as a "cc" just to see if somehow they are put back
