During the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in the SF Bay Area I was wallking around San Francisco killing time since I couldn't get home and didn't have anything else to do. I was stuck in the Mission which ended up a good choice since power came back on there around 8:00pm or so. While walking around saw some people camped out in their Westfalia Vanagon with an electric cord running from a nearby house. I would have camped out in mine too except I took public transit to San Francisco so my Wolfsburg was sitting in the driveway over in the East Bay. Donna, 1987 Syncro
