Hey all,

     Been kind of busy.  Noticed a broke-down Red
Vanagon on I70 near the Indy Airport.  Was going to
stop, and at least commisserate, but I had to get to
work, and was running late (not to mention that they
were westbound and I was eastbound.)

     Anyhow, it must have worked out for them in the
end, I saw this thing tooling around Plainfield a few
days later.

     List member?

     Anyhow, here's an update on my Westy, for those
of you keeping track:

     Still not able to get the middle bench seat out.

     Still don't have it running yet.

     DID receive my brand-new liftgate hatch dampners,
but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

     Won a replacement door handle (and some other
sliding door handle bits) off of eBay, but not
received it yet.

     Am planning on testing my drivers window repair
job once I get the vanagon in my garage.  After
measuring the critical dimensions of height and
length, the feeling is that if I clear out my garage
out of all of the junk, that it would fit.

     That's all I got for now.
