Hi All,

Despite the warning I should have recieved from the noise and vibration, I was foolishly trying to limp to the next town having lost my exhaust. Then I saw a puff of smoke out the rear window. I immediately pulled over and shut the engine down just as the oil pressure buzzer came on. There was old all over the rear hatch and underneith the two bottom bolts that hold the engine to the transmission have sheered off. The engine moved backwards and pierced the oil filter.

I did shut it down quickly but the clutch housing is now cracked and I to have it welded, or get a new one, as well as a new exhaust, before I even know if my engine is good. I'm 99% sure the part I need is called the clucth housing, it's about 5" deep and holds the flywheel and the clutch. I got the part number 091 301 071 E from ETKA but in checking vendors no one stocks it. It appears that the part is NOT syncro specfic.

Anyone hava a source or a price?

Thanks, Chris
