Hi All
Got a Quick question. Will late and early ( up to 86 ) model vanagons interchange with 86 to 91 year, as well as Standard M/T Trans starter to A/T starter.

I know the std trans starter uses the support bushing and the auto trans doesnt (Self Supporting). will the Auto starter work in the M/T? I know the M/T starter
wont or cant be used in the Auto trans.

Im wondering this since Last year I purchased a Foriegn auto parts store that Im liquidating.  A few parts like close to 25,000 parts of all makes models, All
Foreign. Ive been keeping anything that will fit any of the many Vehicles I have. I just happen to run across a few vanagon starters and was wondering what to
hold onto and what to sell off.
