Esme is our friend!!!

We're not quite in the evacuation area.  But we're close enough that I
would *not* have slept last night at home.

We also have a human-type friend who lives closer to the coast in San
Diego.  So that's where we slept last night.  And since his other
potential refugees did not show up, we luxuriated in his guest room.
(Our original plan was to park in his driveway and run an electric
cord out to Esme.)

We're back home now.  And Esme has proved her worth as a survival pod.
Not to forget all the lovely trips around the southwest US and into
Baja California that she has allowed us to take!!!
