I'm sorry but I didn't check for the 3 wire sensors in that I needed one for my 1.9.

I was leaving on a long trip that morning and, in that they didn't have in stock the sensor my engine called for nor a generic (no connector), I opted for this one.

My 1.9 only gets, at best, around 17 mpg when in open loop and I didn't want to start out on a 2,000 plus trip that way. I figured, for $16.00, it was worth a try and I was pleasantly surprised that my first tank of fuel netted over 21 mpg.

My purpose for posting was to say that a sensor intended for another application might just work in a pinch.
