also my ground cable on the battery looks terrible... its badly corroded with the white powder at the body (not on the battery) so other than the ignition...is there anything else i should check? also my van started sound different when all of this came up.....sounds like a bug now. ... but it didnt sound like that before all of this... haha sounds silly i know. but would this have any connection to why its SOUNDS different all of the sudden too? Chad~ 84 GL (that is starting to get on my nerves!)

ps sorry to sound so amature about all of this...thanks for the help in advance.
