An 86 Vanagon, but there is something stenciled on the front of the van where it would say "syncro", if it were a syncro. However, the gas filler is by the passengers side door, so it can't be a syncro. The picture quality is poor so I can't make out what it says. The only other thing I have seen written in that location is "carrier". Any insights on what it says and why?
