Best place I ever got kicked out of was the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City, by a couple of Commissionaires at about 3 in the morning. 24 hour federale security for some reason. I was there all of ten minutes.

When driving through the middle of the sparsely populated Canadian prairies I often park at a gas station for the night when i run low on gas. I have had great luck parking right beside the pump. When the station opens, someone knocks and I fill up, brush my teeth and leave.

I suggested this type of road trip to my now-wife for our honeymoon but strangely she chose Europe instead.
