Here's one for the archives, so you don't have to do what I did and waste $2.92 at your local hardware store:

In my '86 weekender, there is a factory installed screw at the aft end of the sliding door panel, to keep the retaining clips in that area from popping out and causing panel damage when the door is slid open. This screw was missing on my door, so I went to Home Depot and got some sheet metal screw / washer combos in a number of different sizes. After a couple of different tries, I found that a #8 x 1/2" screw works nicely.

OK, so it's not great info compared to the many pearls I've received so far from this list, but at least for now, it's all I can offer...
