Hello out there!
Well, sometimes it takes me a while to get around to using advice from the list, but I
do appreciate it, so thanks.
The problem was the hose, or rather the clamp, on the engine side. I could rotate the
hose by hand, so no wonder it was leaking. My fix, for now, was to cut off the old
crimped fitting. I didn't have a Swedish SS, rolled edge clamp of the right size, so I
used the original collar that was under the crimped clamp, under a regular hose clamp.
It keeps the hose clamp from cutting into the hose. No more leak.
Yes, I know, I should replace the whole shebang, but, life is all about risk and
reward.
