Of course a later air cooled 911 engine is a natural choice. I did say, about subie 2.2's going into them, 914, and not 914-6. Whatever Karl. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Karl Mullendore Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2007 8:27 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: That recent post bashing Tiico..one on Yahoo subaru too. Puh-leeze, Scott, leave the 914-6 alone, it already HAS a great engine, surely you jest about swapping in a Subie? If you had to swap in something it would surely have to be another Porsche flat-6, like a 3.2 or 3.6? Or 3.3 turbo? Maybe it's time for you to lay down those wrenches before you really hurt something. :-) An old friend on mine has a Porsche Carrera-4 screamer that will knock the socks off ANY, and I do mean ANY Subaru abomination you can bring to run. 700+ dyno-proven HP at the wheels, all four of 'em.
