No need to change the copper tubing.Unthread the female P.L.O. from the new block. Use a sturdy vise and a substanial wrench. The block has red thread seal on it and it's very hard to break the threads loose but it will break loose. Then use a close nipple from there into the regulator. I also took off the P.L.O. side on mine and used the P.L.O. off my original tank. It was a tiny bit shorter than the new one. Everything goes together nicely. I also adapted mine to work with the small 1 lb. bottles. Nice for wen your in the middle of the steak cook-off and you run out of gas. Spin the bottle on and go back to cooking. The stove doesn't have time to evan cool off. If your interested n that mod. let me know it's simple. |
