All right, and I also have that *exact* tire, which would make a pair. There is some concern, however, about a tire that is 25 or so years old, even if it has 100 % tread life remaining. Who is getting ready to concours your air-cooled Vanagon? You'll need this!

I have my original spare tire from my '81. It is a 185SR14 Reinforced Radial Continental TS 771 that may never have hit the road--or maybe once when I had a flat.

Come and get it! (Boulder, Colorado)

Otherwise, out it goes--unless I decided to bronze it, put it on a base, and award it to Larry Chase for all the tire-work he has done for us. ;-)
