It says "WITH A BRAND NEW HIGH OUTPUT 2.0-LITER 4 CYLINDER INLINE ENGINE CONVERSION! Conversion Developed by VW South Africa Racing division and engine management by Bosch South Africa."

I read that as saying they are selling a brand new factory engine.

Here's an interesting question, and I'm curious too

By show of "hands"(email) after reading the copy on their site, how many people on the list understand it to be:

1) a brand new engine(which in the industry means factory built, virgin/unseasoned castings) 2) genuine VW (meaning the longblock was designed/built by VW, and assembled by VW)
