Bryan, in the world before Heineken, there were many wonderful beers in the Niagara Region, on both sides of the border. I myself learned to puke while drinking Red Cap and I remember Black Label, Formosa and Old Vienna with fondness.

The Brick Brewing Company in Waterloo, Ontario has bought the rights and the recipes to those old Carling products and are making excellent reproductions, some of which are available from time to time in BC, where I put them in my Vanagon and transport them home to drink safely. :)
