Hello,


I am putting out a desperate request for a running vanagon engine that could be sold. I have a 90 vanagon and the engine overheated and I can't afford to get it over hauled this time. I would hate to have to sell it for parts.


Does anyone have a lead on a running engine that is for sale? maybe a totaled van out there that i could take one out of?


The shop has a new one for $4400 or a rebuild for $3400. ouch. I can come up with maybe $1800 or so.....Please PM me.
