Hi,

Don't worry about the URLs -- that's www stuff. This is wiki, an alternate universe. Do this:

go to Vanagonwiki.net and log in (if you haven't already created a user account it will ask you to do so) then return to the main Vanagon Wiki page as before.

Then click on Tech Pages organized by Subject > Westy-Specific

Click "edit" at the top of the page.

Insert a new line under "Skylight Repairs" and add ""Westy Curtain Patterns" (keep things alphabetical).

Highlight "Westy Curtain Patterns" and click the Link button on the toolbar (looks like an earth with a bit of chain in front of it).

A dialog box will open. In the "Link" window you may see something already filled in, don't worry about that -- it's inherited from the previous link, delete that text and type, "Westy Curtain Patterns" and click OK. This will return you back to editing the page.

Click "Save Page" at the bottom and you'll see "Westy Curtain Patterns" has been added to the list of subjects. Click it and you will be taken to a new, blank page in which you can create your instructions.

I'm looking forward to seeing them, I need to make new curtains.

At some point you may want to add image files. Easiest to add .jpgs, .pngs or .gifs. Starts by Uploading the file, then you can use the Insert/Edit Image button on the toolbar.

URLs aren't used in wikitext, and html isn't used either. Wikis handle their own links and pointers. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer. Ladybug Trailer, Inc., San Juan Capistrano KG6RCR
