Subject: Speaking of clocks and lights..

My 84 analog clock worked great all summer till about 38deg. F.

But, I have another clock on the face of my 'old tech' new stereo, saved from my racecar conversion. A Sony Mini-Disc player with all kinds of cool speakers. Of course, after storing this in my shop for about 5 years, I no longer have the owners manual and as far as I can figure, the light stays on the dial and it's pretty bright..You can remove the face, it came with a little drawstring bag (found the bag, lost the manual..go figure) So now, when we are out in a dark campsite, the stereo/clock has to be 'shrouded' with some handy clothing or something to let us have it dark enough to sleep inside... And the dumb analog clock? It clicks and ticks pretty loud, to make up for not keeping proper time... Guess I should always 'camp' at Mal*Wart or Travel America...so I wouldn't notice these little "nits" to pick... Or, find the clock fuse and wire in a dimmer for the radio light?.... Don Hanson
