The seal may not be the only cause of the leak. Plan on replacing the torque converter bushing and check the seal surface carefully for a groove. If so it will need to sleeved or other wise welded and repaired. A torque converter rebuilder will know what to do.

Okay, I was wrong, the leak was NOT coming from the final drive cover, but appears to be coming from the TC seal. It isn't too bad, but makes a mess on the firewall. Are there any leak sealers (snake oil?) products that might stop a minor leak there? Jerry
