It came w/ a block heater that I'm assuming was installed at the dealer in Canada as it is stamped Made in Canada. The other markings are: LR20976 Model OP-8 250W 110V. I searched in the archives but didn't find much info at all. My block heater has no cord, so I'd like to find a replacement cord so I could plug it into the wall to see if it works. If anyone has any info on this somewhat mysterious block heater, I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks! _http://wavanagon.googlepages.com/87westfaliacanadianblockheater_ (http://wavanagon.googlepages.com/87westfaliacanadianblockheater)
Chris, this block heater is still available. From my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) webpage > Block heater, 605-1500, NAPA - $ 74.95 This block heater is supplied by NAPA. So, you could try them as I will today Also, I may have a good used cord I can sell you. I'll have to go look around the shop today. I also have another parts suppler for that heater who may have the cord separately.
