Well very good Karl. I was being careful there when I wrote 'first opposed 4 diesel' ....I knew maybe it should say 'first car' ..or 'first production' etc. Also, just being picky, notice I wrote 'first opposed TURBO diesel', so your correction is not quite fully accurate :-) ! And thanks for posting this picture and article. Seems odd that in all the many years of vw familiarity I've had ....since the 60's ....in all this time I've never heard of the 1951 vw bug with experimental diesel engine by porsche. 25 hp too ......let's put one in a syncro vanagon !!
