Whats the mileage? Check the seams for rust bubbles. What is it located? California or in the land of 10,000 lakes and 20,000 salt trucks?

If it looks good, it probably is good. If it speaks to you, drive it home.

Pour in a can of Seafoam trans tune and step back!! It should clean the valve body. The fluid will turn BLACK. Change it about 10 times. EZ to do. EZ as changing engine oil. loosen the collar nut where the filler tube enters teh transmission.Fluid will drain. Measure it and repalce it. Do this over and over. Good luck
