I would love to use my van like this but never seem to have the time off to use it for vacations and excursions. It seems that I use it exclusively as my daily driver (other "daily driver"-1971 MGB awaits body work from black ice incident) and try to keep it up to run as my sole source of transportation. I now have 245k on it and average about 1000 miles a month. My dream is to restore the body's exterior to like new condition (seam rust and a few minor dings) and when the rebuilt engine finally gives out to go with a Subaru 2.5 and upgrade 3rd and 4th gears. It would then hopefully become a weekend/vacation warrior and be retired from daily use. We can all dream right?

David Clarkson 90 Westy (245k)
